Bedside management of massive pulmonary embolism: a case report
Pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) may manifest as a clinical syndrome that mimics conditions such as acute myocardial infarction, aortic dissection, tamponade, acute valve dysfunction, cancer, and pneumonia. In this report, we present a case of acute massive pulmonary embolism that developed possibly on a chronic basis, and was managed and treated across different medical centers.
